Landon has hit the 7 month mark and is changing every day. Many more achievements reached and many more to come.
1. Crawler. Landon has been working very hard the past two months on trying to get his legs figured out to crawl. Well, all his hard work has paid off. He is officially a crawler as of last week.
2. Teething (Bottom Front tooth is in, and the other one is coming in.)
Which makes for a fussy and irritable baby. And ever since Landon was born, he has hardly fussed and has been such a wonderful and easy baby, but teething has flipped his world upside down. The past couple of days though, we have started to see our loveable and easy going baby boy come back to us, so hopefully the pain won't set in for a couple more days/weeks with another tooth. Did i mention spoiled! He wakes up throughout the night from the pain of teething, we got tired of getting up 5-6 times throughout the night with him so we gave in to our fatigue and let him sleep with us.
3. As of yesterday, Landon can lift himself up to his feet while hanging onto the couch, baby gate, my leg, etc.
4. Landon got in the swing today at the Park for the first time. He absolutely loved it.He kept laughing and smiling the whole time. He was in there for at least 30 minutes. I'm sure he would of hung out in there all morning, if we would of been able to.
5. Today Landon tried meat for the first time. (It was a jar of beef and mixed vegetable baby food) He absolutely HATED it. He ate 3 spoons of it and made the most disgusting faces while eating it. Then, he refused to eat any more of it. So, i got some green beans, and he loves that. Landon is eating 2-3 tblspoons of fruit/veggie for lunch with a bottle, and then 2-3tblspoons of Cereal/Oatmeal for dinner with a bottle. He is still eating about 32 oz of formula a day.
6. Yesterday we went out to lunch after Church with Shaun's family. Instead of leaving Landon in his car seat hanging out on the flipped over high chair, he sat in the high chair by himself. He did such a great job. Obviously he kept grabbing for my drink and utensils. No, we didn't let him play with the fork & spoon. Not ready for that yet. And he definitely knows how to play the game. You know exactly what game i am talking about. Mommy gives me a toy and i drop it on the ground. Mommy picks up the toy, gives it back to me and then I drop it on the ground again. I already HATE that game. But, it is very cute to watch Landon try to get away with it.
7. This one isn't that big of a deal, but to me every New thing is a big deal. He sat in the stroller with out his car seat for the first time today. What a big boy. He loves being outside and watching everything. He continuously smiled and laughed.
8. Last night I was giving Landon a bath, because he had a disgusting diaper and definitely needed a bath after that one. Anyways, while he was in the tub, he decided that he likes to try to crawl in the water. And while doing that he decided to stick his face under the water. And did this several times. He LOVES the water. He will crawl to the drain and sit next to the faucet while the water comes out and tries to grab the water.
9. Last week he said "da da". Yay!!! He has said "da" a couple of times since then.
Yesterday we took Landon to watch Shaun play Basketball and he just stared and watched the whole game. It is so funny how mesmerized he can get from lights, quick movements, sounds, etc.His eyes get so big. I love watching his reactions to things for the very first time. It's like i get to see everything through new eyes. He has taught me how to enjoy little things such as my shoe laces. haha
These past 7 months have came and gone way too quick. Where is our baby? He is now a big boy! We don't have to hold him any more, he would rather just sit on the floor with a toy and play, or let our dog Buster lick him in the face.
We can't wait to see how much he changes from now until his 1st birthday. He is going to be a completely different child.
Yes, when you squeeze the beak it says "quack"... Landon loves his ducky in the tub
Full of smiles today in the stroller! What a beautiful day in JANUARY!
He loves the swing at the park!

6 Months & Growing!
At Landon's 6 month check up, he was 15 lbs, 11 oz. Still in the 15th percentile. But, he is very healthy on the the right track.
As of today Landon is 6 months, 2 weeks and 1 day old! Time really flies by.
This last week in particular has been full of achievements for Landon.
1. He realized that he can open and close his hand. So he does it all the time and just stares while he is doing it. Like it is the most amazing thing ever. :)
2. He can sit up by himself without falling over. He could do it for hours now.
3. He can hold his bottle by himself. He likes to be a lazy baby and have us hold his bottle, but as of YESTERDAY he likes to hold his own bottle also. YAY!!! What a big boy!
4. He has started veggies. He is trying a new food every 3 days, doctors orders. He has had Sweet Potato's (not sure he likes that one), Squash and Carrots. Landon does so good with his eating from the spoon and he LOVES his oatmeal at night. And we love that the oatmeal helps him sleep through the night.
5. He is the closest to crawling that he could be. He is constantly scooting and rolling around. He is a mover for sure.
6. Landon is absolutely in LOVE with our dog Buster. He will stare at Buster and really enjoys putting his hands through Buster's fur.
We are so proud of Landon and all of his accomplishments.
As for the Holidays: We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas morning in Newton. Christmas day we spent in Wamego with the Rowe side of the family. Landon and I went back to Newton for New Years Eve. It has been a very busy couple of weeks for us. We are very blessed to have so much loving family and friends to spend the Holiday's with.
Aunt Brittany was able to spend 4 days with us forChristmas

He is a very proud Great Grandfather!
Landon and Jackson are going to have a lot of fun together when they are older. Watch out!
Grandpa Winter hated it when we left Newton to go back home. He can't get enough of Landon.
Grandma Winter and Landon on Christmas Eve
Cousin love... The girls spent a couple days with us since they had school off for Christmas Break
Grandma and Grandpa Winter bought Landon a K-State Football Jersey with his Last name on the back for Christmas
It was so nice out, g-pa took Landon on a walk for new years eve.
What a happy boy!
We hope everyone had a wonderful and safe Holiday Season!

5 Months & Growing!
As of Thursday, Landon is 23 weeks old. He is definitely growing and changing on a day to day basis. He weighs over 15 pounds now. His next appointment at the doctor's isn't until December. Our greatest achievement is that he hasn't had an ear infection this month. If it's not one thing it's another. Either an ear infection, cough, Upper Respiratory Infection, running nose, diaper rash, diarrhea or fever. Oh the joys of mother hood! :)
We are so grateful that I get to stay at home with Landon, go through all the sickness and schedules and feedings.
This past month has been very busy for the Rowe family. Between Halloween, K-State Football and Basketball games, Family gatherings and Thanksgiving, Landon is going to start to think that this is how life is supposed to be. :)
Halloween: Landon was an adorable Cow! We took him downtown in Wamego. To 'trick or treat' with his cousins. We took him around to see family and the Bulks.
Landon & I went to Newton for a couple days before Thanksgiving. We met up with my friend Sarah and her son Jackson.
Grandpa Winter can't get enough of his FIRST grandchild!
We spent Thanksgiving in Wamego at our house. We had breakfast that morning with Shaun's parents. My parents, sister and brother came up to celebrate with us. My sister and I made our FIRST Thanksgiving dinner together. It gave my mom a lot of time to relax and spend it with Landon. My sister drove 5 hours just to see Landon :) What a great Aunt he has.

My mom and I took Landon to Lawrence to spend a couple days with her side of the family. Landon met his Great Grandpa Wood for the very FIRST time.

Landon's First Thanksgiving was a success. Very busy, but very successful.
We have our Christmas Tree up, Gifts under the Tree, Decorations and Lights hung. We are going tonight to get our Family Pictures taken and we are taking Landon to meet Santa at the Mall. Now we are ready to celebrate Landon's FIRST Christmas.
We bought Landon a 'Johnny Jumper' as an early Christmas gift. He absolutely LOVES it!
HAPPY HOLIDAYS from the Rowe's!

4 Months & Growing!
Landon had his 4 month check up yesterday. Here are his stats:
Height: 24 inches - 16%
Weight: 13 lb 1oz - 14%
Head Circumference: 41cm - 20%
We found out that Landon has an ear infection, AGAIN! That is two ear infections already. No fun!
He is on a 10 day antibiotic. So hopefully we don't have to go through this again anytime soon.
Other than the ear infection, Landon is doing great. We fed him baby cereal for the first time last week. He has only had it twice, but has done really good. The doctor asked us to wait until he is 5 months old, so that is what we are going to do. He is up to 6oz of formula, and still at every 3 hours! What a hungry boy! He sleeps through the night. Lately he has been waking up between 4:30 and 630am for another feeding and then goes right back to sleep. I on the other hand wake up 3-4 times during the night and STILL check to make sure he is breathing or hasn't flipped over. I'm such a worry wart!
Landon sits in his vibrating chair and grabs the hanging toys with both hands. The doctor said that it is a 5 month thing to start grabing items with their hands. So he is a month advanced! :)
He tries to roll over from back to stomach. Hasn't been able to achieve that yet. He is changing every day. No dark hair anymore. Apparently he is going to be blonde hair, blue eye'd. He is still cute though!
We got Landon a cow costume for Halloween. We are going to take him down town Wamego for Trick or Treating for Halloween. I took Landon and my day care child to the Pumpkin Patch. We had so much fun!
This Fall is so busy with family functions and Holiday celebrations!
While my parents were up we took Landon to the Wamego City Park to ride on the Train.
All of Landon's 'first's' are so much fun for us to be apart of. Grandma & Grandpa Winter haven't seen Landon for 3 weeks, and will be seeing him this weekend. :) Grandma Winter is spoiling Landon. Any garage sales or consignment sales, she goes to and buys gifts for him.
My good friend Jerrica had her baby girl Lynnlee on Monday. We went and visited them in the hospital on Tuesday. Can't wait to raise our children together! Too bad they aren't birthday twinkies like their Momma's!
Have a great weekend everyone!

14 Weeks Old
I can not believe that Landon is 14 weeks today! Time really flies by. Landon is officially sleeping through the night! Yay! He has been sleeping through the night for about the last 3 weeks. So now i can say it out loud with out cringing that i jinxed ourselves. This week though, has been pretty rough. He has had a runny nose for 3 weeks and a cough that keeps getting worse for a week and a half. He smells like a vapor rub factory. Yes, we are using the BABY Vapor Rub, so there is not need to freak out!
Aunt Kristen gave Landon a super cute monkey pillow that he loves to hangout and sleep on:
Landon hasn't missed a K-State game tailgate yet. It is so much fun taking him to the tailgates!
Landon went with me to Jerrica Johnson's baby shower this past weekend. There were 4 pregnant women at the shower. Landon was held a LOT that day!
This Fall is going to be a busy season for us. Lots of friends and family are having baby's and we get to celebrate all of Landon's FIRST holidays! :)
You know what Landon probably loves the most? When his day care friends pull his hair and use his feet as a teether! :)

Lots of changes!
I am not very good at this blog thing, i forgot that it's been awhile since the last post. So this one might be a long one. Here goes: Landon is changing every day. At his 10 week appointment he weighed 10lbs 8oz and was 22 inches long. He is in the 15th percentile for height & weight, and is in the 35th percentile for his head circumference.
On August 28th, Landon was baptised into St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Wamego, KS. His god parents are Matt & Lindsay Bulk. My family and Shauns family were there to celebrate with us. We had a BBQ at the Wamego City Park after the baptism to celebrate. It was wonderful to have so much family and friends that are supporting Landon on his journey with God.
Labor day weekend Landon went to his very FIRST K-State tailgate. He looked adorable in this K-State onsie, even though it was huge on him since it is a size 12 months (thank you to the Petersons for the onsie)
My family and I took Landon to the Manhattan Zoo on that Sunday. We all had a lot of fun even though the zoo wasn't very impressive. We love taking Landon on new adventures.
This past weekend we went to Newton to see my family and honor my grandfather getting inducted into the Newton High School Hall of Fame. On Saturday we took Landon to the State Fair. He did so good. He let his grandpa hold him for about an hour while he slept.
Landon is such a good baby. He is only fussy when he is very tired, hungry or needs a diaper change. He loves to sit up when someone is holding him and look around. He likes to face towards the tv and stare when it is on. He really enjoys standing up and putting all his weight on his feet. He talks to us all the time and is constantly smiling (not just when he passes gas).
Landon is such a big boy. Even though he is in the 15th percentile for his weight, he is eating 5oz of formula every 3 hours. We were waking up every 2 1/2 to 3 hours during the night. BUT, we realized that he hates sleeping on his back and LOVES sleeping on his stomach. So, about a week ago we layed him down on his stomach and he slept for 7 hours straight through the night. Now we lay him down on his stomach every night and he sleeps a minimum of 5 straight hours before the next feeding. It is scary having him on his stomach, but he can lift his head up completely and rotates it to the left and right all the time with no problem.
We got a scare the other night. Shaun put Landon down for bed on his stomach and when Shaun went in to check up on him later, Landon had flipped over on his back. Now he does it almost 2 times every night and every time he does it, he wakes himself up. Also, we put Landon in the middle of the crib each night and he ends up pushing himself to the corner of the crib and getting his hands and feet stuck . So we just bought a breathable bumper. Now we don't have to worry about him getting stuck and waking himself up. He is way too strong for his age :)
I am currently staying at home with Landon and watching a 9 month old girl and 19 month old boy part time. We take walks and go to the park on a daily basis. Landon does so good in the baby carrier, he just looks all around and falls asleep snuggling to my chest. We just bought a play house and swing set for my day care kids and i know Landon will enjoy it for years to come. I am so glad that i am able to stay at home with Landon and watch him grow and change every day. It is the most wonderful feeling to be a mother. Shaun & I are so in love with our son. He has definately changed our lives for the better. Everything is new and exciting!
I've already started talked about when we will start trying for our 2nd child. We are hoping to be in a new house by this Winter.. So please cross your fingers and pray for us. We have out grown our house and really need more space. If we are able to move into a new house, then this next summer of early Fall, we will start trying for another baby. So exciting to think that Landon will some day be a big brother.

FIRST Family Vacation
Shaun, Landon & I went on our very FIRST family vacation with my parents and sister. We headed to Table Rock on Sunday, August 7th. We stayed at a Resort on the lake. We finally were able to hang out side, i swear we spent the past 6 weeks in our home because of the heat. It was nice to get out in the fresh air. We took full advantage of it. Landon made his first splash in the pool. He didn't even cry. He is definately a water baby!
We spent a lot of time fishing and hanging out at the Resort. It was great to have Landon spend 5 days with my family. We usually only get to see them once a month. My father and Landon spent lots of time 'talking' on the porch every morning.
Aunt Brittany made sure to get some snuggling in.
Grandma Winter LOVED her time with Landon!
My mom stayed with Landon Thursday at the Resort and let us spend the day at Silver Dollar City. Had a lot of fun on the rides :)
We are truely blessed to have such a wonderful baby in our lives. He is the light of our world!
We went over to visit the Doll family when we got back from vacation.
Landon with his 'bestfriend' Cameron. They are 5 weeks apart.
